I had a bad catalytic converter and a leak coming from somewhere from under my 98 S10. I found Dotson's here on Angie's List and without hesitation gave them a call. They called me with what they had found wrong, confirmed it was a catalytic converter and a water pump causing the leak. Kevin explained all of it in detail that I could understand and provided an estimate that was more than fair. Kevin called me later to tell me they had found a problem with the muffler (and explained why) but it only added a small amount to the estimate. They had my car done a day earlier than I expected! Great service, great customer care. Wow...no doubt I will be back!
Absolutely great experience - I highly recommend this garage. Looking for a new repair shop, I checked Angie's List and saw Dotson's. Check engine light has been on for over a year - we were told by dealer it was the catalytic converter. Starting to sputter and chug finally...not much power anymore so took it in. I called on a Wednesday afternoon, they got us in Thursday morning and had it complete by the time I got off work at 3pm. They drove around with me in it to let me listen and feel the difference. Answered all my questions. Each of the staff I dealt with was very friendly, very professional and seemed knowledgeable. Prices were very reasonable compared to what we were quoted originally elsewhere. Van is running great now.
I was very satisfied with them. They repaired the air conditioning unit of my vehicle once and they did a really good job and the cost was cheaper than what they had thought they would be quoting me and that was nice. What made me go to them in the first place were the reviews that I heard about them. Everybody that dealt with them liked them. I was satisfied with them. I have not gone to them for the same problem twice. They were pretty quick. They were on time and were very professional.
